From orchestras and choir, to guest speakers and enrichment classes, the MYCO Summer Workshop offers eight days of intensive training for talented musicians ages 11 to 18.

Daily sessions include chamber group coachings with our distinguished faculty members, as well as orchestra rehearsals. Other workshop classes include music theory, choir, improvisation, and accompanying classes for piano students. Public performances featuring the chamber groups, orchestras, and choir are presented at the end of the workshop.

The Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra places a strong emphasis on its learning environment. Students enjoy a challenging yet positive atmosphere, with high performance standards. Musicianship skills are developed through peer work and mutual learning. The MYCO Summer Workshop is open to string, piano and woodwind students.
