Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra: Fall/Spring Sessions
The Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra is a pre-professional program focusing on orchestral
and chamber music performance.
Repertoire ranges from Mozart and Haydn to Schubert, Brahms, Bartók and beyond. MYCO
students enjoy a challenging yet positive environment, with high performance standards.
The program is open to violin, viola and cello students who are moderately advanced
(ages 11-14), and advanced (ages 14-18). Limited openings are available for piano,
wind and double bass students.

Conducted by Yoram Youngerman, MYCO features two orchestras and a number of chamber
groups. The MYCO faculty includes college professors, symphony players, and other
professional musicians.
New students are placed through auditions, held prior to each session.
