Yoram Youngerman
Mr.
Youngerman is a
violinist, violist, and conductor of the Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber musician, Mr. Youngerman
performed in major venues worldwide including the Lincoln center, New York;
Barbican center, London; and venues in Washington, Toronto, Amsterdam,
Zurich, San Francisco, and Berlin. He performed extensively around the
country as a member of the internationally award winning Amernet String
quartet, collaborated with prominent ensembles such as the Tokyo String
Quartet, and performed as a guest solo artist with the Cincinnati Symphony
Orchestra.
In the local arena, Mr.
Youngerman performed with the Ciompi String Quartet and is a member of the
Mallarmé Chamber Players. As a solo artist, Mr. Youngerman won the first
prize of the Paul Ben-Haim competition for contemporary music performance,
the Israeli National Music Foundation award, and an annual scholarship from
the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. Mr. Youngerman received his Master
degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and was a scholarship
student of Dorothy DeLay at the University of Cincinnati
College-Conservatory of Music.
Mr. Youngerman founded the Mallarmé Youth Chamber
Orchestra in 2005
